Chick pea Soup


Kabuli Chana – 1/2 cup
Tomato – 2
Coriander leaves
Ginger – 1/2 inch
Garlic – 2 pods
Sugar – Pinch
Red chilli Powder – 1/2 tsp
Cumin Powder – 1/2 tsp
Black pepper Powder – 1/2 tsp
Butter – 1 tbsp

Step by Step method to make Chick Pea Soup

1.Soak chana overnight,pressure cook it with enough water for 6-7 whistles or until soft.Donot drain water and keep it aside

2.Grind Tomato,ginger,garlic in mixie.Donot add water.

3.Heat Butter in pressure cooker,transfer grinded tomato paste to it

4.Pressure cook for 2 whistles in medium flame.If tomato paste is thick add chick  pea cooked water for thinning .

5.When pressure release by itself,add boiled channa,salt,black pepper powder,Cumin powder.Let it boil until soup gets little thick

6.Finally add pinch of sugar and serve soup topped with coriander leaves
