Soya chunks 65 is good substitute for chicken 65.When i arrange party at home i use to make soya chunks 65 for vegetarian and chicken 65 for non vegetarian..

My daughter love to eat soya chunks 65 when she watch TV or reading story books.When its all done after 2 hrs i can hear a sound Amma do you have more………………I usually save some for her and give her later.

We can make soya chunks briyani,Soya chunks korma,Soay chunks Keema masala and more.We can substitute Soya for any non veg recipes.Soya is rich in proteins.

Ingredients:

Soya Chunks               – 2 cups
Yogurt                         – 2 tbsp
Red chilli powder        – 1/4 tsp or as needed
Coriander powder       – 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder        – 1/4 tsp
Cumin powder            – 1/4 tsp
Lemon juice               – 1/2 tsp
Corn flour                   – 1 1/4 tbsp
Rice flour                    – 1 1/2 tbsp
SAlt
Oil for frying
Ginger garlic paste    – 2 tsp
Chicken 65 masala   – 1 tsp optional
Red food color          – 1/8 tsp optional

Step by step method to make soya chunks 65

1.Make water to boil in pan.Add salt to it.When water starts to boil add soya chunks to it and cook for 5 to 10 min or until soy turns double in size.

2.Then drain water.Let soy cools down

3.Squeeze soya with hand to take away water from soya chunks

4.Transfer it to a bowl then add all the dry ingredients and mix well.Add salt only for masala, as soya has salt while boiling in water

5.Let soya chunks rest for 15 to 20 min.

6.Heat oil in kadai to fry soya chunks

7.If is too hot then soya turns brown or if oil is less hot soya chunks sucks oil.So oil shouls not be too hot or less hot to fry.

8.Drop small portion of soya chunks in oil and fry till bubble from from oil reduce

9.Remove from oil and transfer it paper towel to remove excess oil.

10.Serve hot

Note

 

1.Squeeze water from soya with hand so that soy 65 will not suck oil

2.While frying donot crowd,make batch by batch

3.I have added salt to soya while boiling,If salt is not added whilie boling soya ,then Soy cannot absorb salt in any other way

4.Lemon juice gives little tangy taste to soya chunks 65,If not substitute with amchur powder or chaat masala

5.Chicken 65 masala is optional,this masala adds extra flavour to soya chunks 65
